When the application is run for the first time, it will prompt the user for some basic settings. The screen should look like this

After setting up the paths to the static and market databases (these are the same for the released application but may be different by user choice), the application should lead you to the start screen as below (or the same but with a black content in the main area if you chose not to show the start screen at launch time)
